Il National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism sollecita candidature per un meccanismo R01 Clinical Trial Required incentrato sulla ricerca sul trattamento e il recupero dall'alcol. Questo NOFO si concentrerà ampiamente su argomenti rilevanti per il trattamento e il recupero dal disturbo da uso di alcol (AUD), inclusi: sviluppo di farmaci, medicina di precisione, terapie comportamentali e meccanismi di cambiamento comportamentale (MOBC), recupero, ricerca traslazionale e metodi e tecnologie innovative per il trattamento e il recupero dall'AUD.
