The National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP) is a coordinating program for earthquake monitoring, research, implementation, education, and outreach activities developed and conducted by these four agencies: • Federal Emergency Management Agency • National Institute of Standards and Technology • National Science Foundation, and • U.S. Geological Survey ​FEMA awards competitive grants to nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education that possess the critical skills necessary to develop and implement regional (multi-state) and/or national earthquake risk mitigation activities on behalf of states and territories participating in the FEMA NEHRP State Assistance program.This notice funds multi-state and national activities and is not intended to assist any one particular state or territory. Technical Assistance and Training for Rural, Small and Tribal Municipalities and Wastewater Treatment Systems

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is soliciting applications under the authority of the Clean Water Act (CWA) section 104(b)(8) to provide Technical Assistance and Training for Rural, Small and Tribal Municipalities and Wastewater Treatment Systems. The program supports small, rural, and Tribal communities’ efforts to identify water challenges, develop plans, build technical, financial, and managerial capacity, comply with CWA requirements, and access water infrastructure funding. Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity under the Clean Water Act, EPA will achieve greater protection of public health and the environment through an increase in trained water sector personnel, access to funding and financing for wastewater treatment facilities, and Clean Water Act compliance. This action advances the Administration’s priorities, including to Make America Healthy Again, by improving water quality and reducing exposure risks, and enabling responsible economic growth for small, rural, and tribal communities through improved wastewater infrastructure. In partnership with States, Tribes, and local governments and grounded in sound science and the law, EPA will deliver cleaner water, stronger infrastructure, and long-term environmental stewardship for all Americans. The proposed activities support the Agency’s Powering the Great American Comeback Initiative’s Pillar 1: Clean Air, Land, and Water for Every American. Priority Areas identified in this opportunity are: (1) Technical assistance and training for rural, small, and Tribal municipalities for planning, developing and acquisition of financing/funding for eligible projects and activities. • Technical assistance and training for rural, small, and Tribal publicly owned treatment works and decentralized wastewater systems to help improve water quality and to achieve and maintain compliance. (2) Technical assistance and training focused specifically on Tribes for planning, developing and acquisition of financing/funding, to help improve water quality and achieve and maintain compliance, and/or to support emerging contaminants project development. (3) Information dissemination, technical assistance and training focused specifically on decentralized wastewater treatment systems to support planning, development and acquisition of financing. Eligible entities for this grant program include nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education that can provide technical assistance and training to rural, small, and Tribal municipalities, publicly owned wastewater treatment works, and decentralized wastewater treatment systems. Assisting systems with their technical, managerial, and financial capacity to achieve long-term compliance is a key priority for the Agency. Infrastructure construction projects such as repairing water or sewer lines, adding new equipment, or upgrading, retrofitting, or rehabilitating existing equipment are not eligible for funding under this announcement.

Face aux impacts croissants du changement climatique et aux mutations économiques et sociales qui fragilisent les territoires de moyenne montagne, la Fondation de France Grand Est souhaite accompagner des dynamiques locales capables de renforcer la résilience du massif des Vosges. L’ambition est de soutenir des projets collectifs qui contribuent à transformer durablement les modes d’habiter, de produire et de vivre sur ces territoires, en conciliant préservation des écosystèmes, qualité de vie des habitants et vitalité économique, dans une logique de transition écologique juste et solidaire. Les projets hors périmètre sont acceptés si les actions se déroulent majoritairement dans le massif. Il s’agit de soutenir d es Actions concrètes et collectives (pas uniquement étude ou sensibilisation) qui permettent d’avoir un impact sur les modes de vie (habitat, emploi, production, mobilité…) selon une approche globale (écologique, sociale, économique). Elles devront permettre l’implication d’une variété d’acteurs (citoyens, associations, professionnels…) s’inscrire dans la durée et faire preuve d’un ancrage territorial avéré. The Office of Community Services (OCS) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) will support a funding opportunity for six (6) three-year cooperative agreements for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Communities of Practice (CoP).Six CoPs will be established to provide training and technical assistance (TTA). These CoPs will include CSBG-funded states, territories, and tribes, and CSBG state associations and eligible entities. The specialized TTA must: account for regional, state, city, county, tribal, and community characteristics (i.e., jurisdictional levels, demographic categories, socioeconomic tiers, community resources, etc.); be based on evidence-informed TTA models specific to the assigned CoPs; and include scalable approaches that states, territories, state associations, tribes, and CSBG-eligible entities can implement to support individuals and families with low incomes as they progress towards economic security.The six award recipients will be required to provide their respective grouping of CSBG states, territories, tribes, state associations, and eligible entities with capacity-building that creates scalable, evidence-informed interventions that improve earned income, employment stability, and asset development for families with low incomes through coordinated service delivery and systems alignment.TTA developed under these CoPs will advance community-level strategies that prevent and reduce barriers to attaining economic mobility; education and workforce development; transportation; and access to safe and stable housing, including support for the A Home for Every Child administrative priority. National Disaster Coverage Training for Indonesian Journalists

1. Project Background, Goals, and Objectives Indonesia is one of the most disaster-prone nations on earth. Situated on the Pacific Ring of Fire and spanning more than 17,000 islands, the archipelago experiences an extraordinary frequency of natural hazards including earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, floods, and landslides affecting millions of people and causing billions of dollars in economic losses each year. North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Central Sulawesi represent some of the highest-risk disaster zones in the country, sitting atop active fault lines, near active volcanoes, and along coastlines vulnerable to tsunamis and storm surge. North Sumatra and West Sumatra were hit by extreme weather at the end of 2025 that caused massive landslide and took the lives of hundreds of locals. Central Sulawesi was devastated by the 2018 Palu earthquake and tsunami, which killed more than 4,000 people. Despite this persistent threat environment, most journalists working in these regions lack formal training in the specialized skills required to cover disasters safely and effectively, including safety protocols for hazardous environments, crisis communication best practices, fact-checking and digital verification tools, coordination with emergency officials, and public safety information delivery. When disasters strike and journalists are unprepared, inaccurate reporting can impede evacuation and undermine public trust in emergency systems. The training will be conducted through workshops, field exercises, mentorship, and simulated disaster scenarios. By strengthening the capacity of local journalists to report accurately and responsibly during crises, this initiative promotes a free, independent, and professional press and supports resilient, well-informed communities that are better equipped to withstand and recover from disasters, advancing the U.S. foreign policy goal of strengthening regional disaster response and security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific. Project Audience(s): Primary Audience: Journalists from print, broadcast, and digital media working in disaster-prone areas across Indonesia Newsroom editors and managers responsible for disaster coverage Participants must be Indonesian citizens or residents Secondary Audience: Emergency management officials and first responders (PMI, BNPB) Civil society communicators working on disaster preparedness Indonesian media organizations and journalism associations Local government officials responsible for public information during emergencies Project Goal A well-trained Indonesian press corps that can report accurately under emergent conditions strengthens public trust, supports government accountability, and creates the reliable information environment that the United States and regional partners depend on to coordinate effective humanitarian assistance. This project will contribute to a more stable information environment and improve national and regional disaster response coordination. A successful project would equip at least 150 Indonesian journalists with proficiency in accurate, ethical, and effective disaster reporting, including coverage of earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, landslides, and volcanic eruptions, as measured by pre- and post-training competency assessments. Participants would develop specialized skills in safety protocols for hazardous environments, crisis communication best practices, fact-checking and digital verification, and coordination with emergency officials. At least 75 trained media professionals would apply these skills to deliver critical public safety information during real disaster events. The project would generate multiplier effects by building a cohort of disaster-ready journalists capable of mentoring colleagues and elevating reporting standards across Indonesian newsrooms in the country’s highest-risk regions. Project Objectives: The project objectives are the specific and measurable results PDS aims to achieve through this project. They describe necessary and pre-requisite changes required to move closer to achieving the project goal. · Objective 1 – Equip a minimum of 150 Indonesian journalists from print, broadcast, and digital media across at least seven provinces with proficiency in disaster reporting, including safety protocols for hazardous environments, crisis communication best practices, fact-checking and digital verification tools, and coordination with emergency officials Pre- and post-training competency assessments will demonstrate skill improvement among at least 70 percent of participants. · Objective 2 – Ensure at least 75 trained media professionals apply newly acquired disaster reporting skills to deliver accurate, timely, and credible public safety information during at least one real disaster event within the project period, as documented through published reports, broadcast coverage, or verified field activity records. · Objective 3 – Build a cohort of disaster-ready journalists capable of mentoring colleagues, with at least 30 participants committing to formal or informal peer mentorship or in-newsroom training activities within six months of program completion, as measured by post-program follow-up surveys or documented mentorship agreements. 2. Substantial Involvement This award will be a cooperative agreement. In consultation with the U.S. Embassy Jakarta, the award recipient must actively engage with and manage the details of the training as well as communication with participating Indonesian journalists and other collaborators/partners. U.S. Embassy Roles and Responsibilities: Working closely with the award recipient, U.S. Embassy Jakarta will be involved in: Consultation on the development of the scheduled program Review and approval of training locations Participation in the selection of participants Review and approval of the agenda and content of activities (training modules, workshops, practical exercises, panel discussions, mentorship, etc.) Coordination with U.S. experts from ECA's U.S. Speaker Program roster Review and approval of social media, traditional media, and other publicity content Review and approval of final program materials, photos, and videos Recipient Roles and Responsibilities: The award recipient is expected to: Develop, organize, and implement an open call for journalists and media professionals working in disaster-prone areas Manage a selection process in collaboration with PAS and other stakeholders Identify and select at least 200 participants representing a range of media outlets, geographic regions, and experience levels Source, organize, and manage experts to hold workshops, participate in panel discussions, and engage in mentorship and field practices Develop, organize, and manage comprehensive training modules covering safety protocols, technical skills, disaster science, ethical reporting, digital tools, fact-checking, interviewing techniques, and coordination with emergency officials Develop, coordinate, and oversee practical exercises including simulated disaster reporting scenarios, case study analysis, and field exercises Identify, coordinate, and manage venues for all training activities, including audio, visual, and sound system support Design and distribute digital and non-digital marketing and promotional materials Develop a comprehensive social media campaign plan for all activities Develop a resource library and best practices guide for disaster coverage Plan to expand public awareness and visibility beyond the program Provide all design files, photos, and videos of the program Provide a promotion-ready, U.S. Embassy approved photo album and video series after completion Maintain regular, transparent communication via email, phone, video conference calls, and face-to-face meetings with the grants officer, grants officer representative, and program officer throughout the period of performance

Los países destinatarios son Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Perú y Suriname, así como la Francia metropolitana y los territorios de ultramar. Con una duración de 30 meses, el programa prevé: - Movilizar al menos a 50 personas voluntarias en apoyo de iniciativas de alto impacto impulsadas por organizaciones de la sociedad civil en los países de la cuenca amazónica; - Fortalecer las capacidades y la articulación en red de 100 organizaciones de la sociedad civil que trabajan en favor de la preservación de la selva amazónica o en apoyo de las comunidades locales y de los pueblos indígenas. La primera convocatoria de manifestaciones de interés (AMI), lanzada en 2025, permitió seleccionar 49 misiones de voluntariado en el marco de dispositivos regidos por la ley francesa. Así, al 30 de abril de 2026, 36 personas voluntarias están en terreno, 7 se encuentran en proceso de reclutamiento o en formación previa a su salida, y 6 han finalizado su misión. Esta segunda convocatoria abre el programa V-Amazonie a un nuevo dispositivo de voluntariado, el Servicio Cívico Internacional (SCI), incluida la reciprocidad, y constituye una palanca estratégica importante. Busca reforzar el impacto del programa prolongando la dinámica impulsada por las personas voluntarias ya comprometidas, gracias a una mayor presencia junto a las comunidades y a una movilización ciudadana más amplia. La incorporación del Servicio Cívico permitirá también desarrollar la reciprocidad, acogiendo en Francia a jóvenes procedentes de países amazónicos, consolidando así las alianzas y enriqueciendo los intercambios interculturales. En este marco, tres dispositivos pueden movilizarse para esta segunda convocatoria: • El Servicio Cívico Internacional (SCI): El servicio cívico es una modalidad de voluntariado de iniciación dirigida a jóvenes para la realización de misiones de interés general. Puede acoger a una persona joven en Servicio Cívico una amplia variedad de estructuras, incluidas estructuras de acogida fuera de Francia no acreditadas, siempre que la misión se implemente a través de la intermediación de una estructura acreditada. Si la estructura acreditada no está identificada en el momento de presentar el proyecto, France Volontaires facilitará la vinculación. • El Servicio Cívico de Reciprocidad (SCR): El Servicio Cívico Internacional está abierto al principio de reciprocidad, lo que permite que jóvenes de países que acogen a personas voluntarias francesas vengan a realizar una misión en Francia. • El Voluntariado de Intercambio y Competencias (VEC): El voluntariado de intercambio y competencias es impulsado por determinadas asociaciones miembros de France Volontaires. Cette aide portée par la DRAC Grand Est, la Région Grand Est et le CNL a pour objectif d’accroître la présence des auteurs et d’intensifier la vie littéraire sur l’ensemble de la région Grand Est. Elle vise à accompagner, sur un temps long, les collectivités locales, notamment dans les territoires ruraux, afin de développer des actions à l’échelle intercommunale, en s’appuyant notamment sur les bibliothèques et médiathèques. Présentation du dispositif Qu'est-ce que l'aide aux initiatives territoriales dans le domaine de l’économie du livre et de la vie littéraire ? Il s’agit de faire vivre le Livre sur l’ensemble du territoire régional, notamment rural, mais aussi faire mieux connaître ceux qui concourent à son existence (auteurs, illustrateurs, traducteurs, éditeurs, libraires, organisateurs de manifestations littéraires, associations professionnelles, etc.) et inventer d’autres types de médiation pour valoriser le Livre et mettre la Lecture à la portée de tous.Pour cela, le dispositif Grammage se propose : D’accompagner les rencontres, les médiations et l’éducation artistique et culturelle par la présence d’un ou plusieurs acteurs du livre ; D’accompagner le développement de projets littéraires liés à la lecture à haute voix, aux livres audio et aux podcasts associant un acteur de la chaîne du livre pour multiplier les accès aux livres et à la lecture ; D’accompagner le développement de partenariats locaux et de circuits courts et favoriser le rapprochement entre acteurs du livre et collectivités ; De valoriser les talents des territoires et favoriser la participation des habitants ; De permettre la montée en puissance et la professionnalisation des activités et offres de services proposées autour de l’écosystème du Livre ; D’accompagner prioritairement les territoires ruraux en dynamisant l’offre culturelle en complémentarité et concertation avec les bibliothèques départementales.

The overall purpose of the Older Adult Home Modification Program (OAHMP) is to assist experienced nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, and public housing authorities in undertaking comprehensive programs that make safety and functional home modification repairs and renovations to meet the needs of low-income seniors. The goal of the home modification program is to enable low-income elderly persons to remain in their homes through low-cost, low barrier, high impact home modifications to reduce older adults" risk of falling, improve general safety, increase accessibility, and to improve their functional abilities in their home. This will enable older adults to remain in their homes, that is, to "age in place," rather than move to nursing homes or other assisted care facilities.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL, the Department, or we), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA or the Agency), is providing notice of the availability of up to $250,000 in grant funds for education and training programs to help the mining community identify, avoid, and prevent unsafe and unhealthy working conditions in and around mines. The program uses grant funds to establish and implement education and training programs, to create training materials and programs, or both. Section 14 of the Mine Improvement and New Emergency Response Act of 2006 (MINER Act) requires the Secretary of Labor (Secretary) to give priority to mine safety demonstrations and pilot projects with broad applicability. The MINER Act also mandates that the Secretary emphasize programs and materials that target miners in smaller mines, including training mine operators and miners about new MSHA standards, high-risk activities, and other identified safety hazards. Applicants may be states, territories and tribal governments (including the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and Federally recognized tribes) and public or private nonprofit entities. Eligible entities may apply for funding independently or in partnership with other eligible organizations. For partnerships, a lead organization must be identified. Faith-based organizations are encouraged to apply, as are any eligible organizations, subject to any applicable constitutional, statutory, and regulatory protections and requirements. Those that meet the eligibility requirements may receive awards under this funding opportunity. DOL will not, in the selection of recipients and administration of the grant, discriminate on the basis of an organization’s religious character, affiliation, exercise, or lack thereof, or on the basis of conduct that would not be considered grounds to favor or disfavor a similarly situated secular organization. A faith-based organization that participates in this program will retain its independence from the Government and may continue to carry out its mission consistent with religious freedom and conscience protections in Federal law. MSHA may award up to five grants. An applicant may submit multiple applications, and MSHA will select the applications that are most advantageous in meeting the goals of this program. MSHA’s focus for these grants is effective emergency response and recovery training in various types of mine conditions. MSHA is interested in programs that focus on training miners on workplace safety, including training miners and employers about new MSHA standards, high-risk activities, or hazards identified by MSHA. Special attention will be given to programs that target miners at new, newly opened, and smaller mines, or create training and compliance assistance programs to assist new operators.
