Ces actions peuvent inclure un volet limité aux activités de R&D ; CSA, Coordination and Support Actions : Réseautage, études & conférences, communication, études pour de nouvelles infrastructures de recherche ; MSCA, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions / Bourses ERC : Réseaux de formation pour les chercheurs, Bourses individuelles pour les chercheurs expérimentés, Echange de personnels – mobilité pour les chercheurs et le personnel non scientifique. De même, les appels précisent les bénéficiaires attendus : Projets collaboratifs, composés d’un coordinateur et des partenaires (consortium) ; Projets mono-bénéficiaires, impliquant une seule organisation ; Bourses individuelles, ouvertes à des personnes physiques en leur nom propre avec leur établissement de rattachement.
