Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Parkinson’s Research Program (PRP) Early Investigator Research Award (EIRA) supports Parkinson’s disease (PD) research for investigators in the early stages of their careers. The FY26 EIRA offers two funding levels, which align to the research career stage of the Principal Investigator (PI). Funding Level 1 (for fellows) requires the investigator to receive guidance from a designated Mentor, whereas Funding Level 2 (for early-career independent investigators) does not. Proposed research must address at least one of the four FY26 PRP Focus Areas . Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) along with other participating Institutes encourages submission of applications proposing to conduct secondary data analysis and integration of existing datasets and database resources, with the ultimate aim to elucidate cancer risk and related outcomes (e.g., risk prediction or reduction, survival, or response to treatment, etc.). The goal of this initiative is to address key scientific questions relevant to cancer by supporting the analysis of existing clinical, environmental, surveillance, health services, vital statistics, behavioral, lifestyle, genomic, and molecular profiles data. Taux de co-financement : entre 70% et 100% du total des coûts éligibles ----- Objectifs Amener les innovations des acteurs de l'innovation issus des écosystèmes de la quadruple hélice à un stade de maturité leur permettant d'être déployées à grande échelle et commercialisées Renforcer l'intégration des acteurs de l'innovation issus des régions moins développées et des régions en transition dans les chaînes de valeur en développement de l'UE Priorités Priorité 1 : transition numérique Priorité 2 : transition écologique Priorité 3 : fabrication intelligente Eligibilité Être une personne morale (organisme public ou privé) Être établi dans l'un des pays éligibles : États membres de l'UE (y compris les pays et territoires d'outre-mer) Etats non-membres de l'UE : pays de l'EEE répertoriés et pays associés à l'instrument I3 ( liste des pays participants ) Les bénéficiaires et les entités affiliées doivent s'inscrire au Registre des Participants avant de soumettre leur proposition. Un consortium composé d’au moins 3 entités indépendantes, établies dans 3 régions différentes de 2 pays éligibles doit être constitué. Le consortium doit compter au moins 1 entité établie dans une région plus développée. Le coordinateur doit être : un organisme public ou une organisation à but non lucratif ou une entité chargée par les autorités nationales ou régionales de concevoir ou de mettre en œuvre des actions d'innovation et d'investissement en faveur des PME Informations complémentaires Durée initiale de l’action : entre 18 et 36 mois Des prolongations sont possibles si elles sont dûment justifiées et font l'objet d'un amendement à la convention de subvention. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Vision Research Program (VRP) Clinical Trial Award (CTA) supports the rapid implementation of clinical trials with the potential to have a significant impact on the treatment or management of service-connected eye injury and visual dysfunction. Research must align with at least one of the FY26 VRP Focus Areas . Distinctive Features: · For interventions that require Investigational New Drug (IND)/Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) or equivalent regulatory authorizations for clinical testing, the IND/IDE application or equivalent must be submitted to the relevant Regulatory Agency by the CTA application submission deadline. In addition, applicants must provide documentation of communication from the Regulatory Agency indicating that the IND/IDE or equivalent is active/safe to proceed by March 1, 2027, in order for the CTA application to be considered for funding. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Vision Research Program (VRP) Translational Research Award (TRA) supports translational research that transforms a promising discovery into new drugs, devices or clinical practice guidelines that are ready for definitive testing in clinical trials during or by the end of the period of performance. The TRA may be used to support preclinical studies, clinical research or a pilot clinical trial , but not a full-scale clinical trial . Research must align with at least one of the FY26 VRP Focus Areas . The IIRA may be used to support preclinical studies and/or clinical research . Research must align with at least one of the FY26 VRP Focus Areas . The IIRA cannot be used to support clinical trials .
