Accelerating the fight against tiger mosquito proliferation

Launched to accelerate the fight against the proliferation of the tiger mosquito in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, it targets:

• Innovative studies and experiments for vector control;
• Means of detecting the presence of viruses in key areas (urbanized areas and sensitive buildings);
• Means of awareness and prevention;
• Alternative or nature-based control solutions.

The aid will consist of an investment grant. Selected projects must apply for a grant from the Department. The aid will be formalized by an agreement and approved by the Standing Committee.

The Department's intervention will be adjusted up to a ceiling of 70% of the total amount of equipment committed by the beneficiary, within the limit of 80,000 € per project.
