Choose a cause.
Countries with the most active programmes.
It depends on the programme. Many do not require experience; others ask for specific skills (nursing, education). Each NGO states its requirements.
Generally 18 years old. Some programmes involving minors require 21+. The NGO states the minimum age for each programme.
The price covers accommodation and local meals. You handle flights, visas and travel insurance. Some NGOs offer basic insurance — check each programme.
When you pay (next phase), Captaru holds the money in escrow and releases it to the NGO upon confirming your arrival. A 12% commission covers the platform.
Cancellation policy per programme: normally full refund >30 days before, 50% up to 14 days before, 0% after. Each programme details its policy.
