Capture and retain skills and talents

The economic fabric of the Adour Chalosse Tursan Marsan territory is focused on the presential economy and social redistribution. While the productive economy (agriculture, agri-food, industries) still provides jobs, these sectors face common problems: lack of attractiveness and recruitment difficulties. On the other hand, it should be noted that more than 30% of the population is over 60 years old and there are few young people or senior executives settling in the area.
This action sheet therefore aims to support actions that make the economic environment of the territory more attractive and sustainable, by targeting the following objectives:
- Maintain attractiveness in terms of jobs and services for the active population, which is linked in particular to the presence of a departmental capital and a network of town centers;
- Contribute to meeting the evolving needs of businesses, particularly in terms of training;
- Support economic initiatives with social utility;
- Support initiatives enabling the transition to a more environmentally friendly economy
