To offer mayors of the municipalities concerned and health professionals a range of devices, aids and tools, structured around four complementary intervention areas:

• the establishment of health professionals and regional multi-professional health centers;
• the reception of general medicine students in the territories;
• the deployment of telemedicine;
• better access to emergency care.

Faced with the progression of medical deserts, which today spares no French region, the regional executive wishes to give new ambition to its health policy by engaging in a solidarity-based territorial development approach in terms of access to care, which will be based on a new intervention framework.

Each of these components represents a lever in the fight against medical desertification. Their mobilization involves the regional health agency, health professionals and establishments, as well as elected officials from local authorities and inter-municipal public cooperation establishments.
