Strengthening the enhancement of the territory and structuring the tourism and leisure offer

The European LEADER program, supported by the GAL (Local Action Group) of the Pays d'Ancenis, finances innovative operations in its territory, particularly through the strategic axis "Strengthening the enhancement of the territory and structuring the tourism and leisure offer".

The Pays d'Ancenis has significant tourism potential centered around the Loire and Erdre valleys and many quality sites. These riches must be valued to strengthen the identity, attractiveness and notoriety of the territory among tourists, but also among the inhabitants and workers of the Pays d'Ancenis, to develop a sense of belonging through tourism and leisure projects.

Operational objectives:

• Enhance natural heritage, built heritage and intangible heritage, particularly through associative and cultural initiatives
• Develop structuring projects throughout the territory for sustainable and local tourism that can benefit everyone
• Develop outdoor activities by meeting the challenge of complementarity with existing infrastructures and devices (cycling offer in connection with "la Loire à Vélo", nautical offer on the Loire and on Lake Vioreau, hiking trails…)
