Supporting a just and inclusive ecological transition in the Vosges mountains

Facing the increasing impacts of climate change and the economic and social changes that weaken mid-mountain territories, the Fondation de France Grand Est wishes to support local dynamics capable of strengthening the resilience of the Vosges massif.

The ambition is to support collective projects that contribute to sustainably transforming ways of living, producing, and residing in these territories, by reconciling ecosystem preservation, quality of life for residents, and economic vitality, within a framework of a just and inclusive ecological transition.

Territory concerned

The scope of the call for projects is constituted by the 582 communes of the Vosges massif. Projects outside the scope are accepted if the actions primarily take place within the massif.

The aim is to support concrete and collective actions (not just studies or awareness campaigns) that can have an impact on lifestyles (housing, employment, production, mobility, etc.) according to a global approach (ecological, social, economic). They should allow for the involvement of a variety of actors (citizens, associations, professionals, etc.), be long-term, and demonstrate proven territorial roots.
