HCA grants support land conservation projects in which a State, County, or Municipal entity acquires land or an interest in land from a willing seller to conserve resources of high conservation value.Governors of the four Highlands States may submit proposals for up to 50% of the total cost of land conservation projects in the Highlands Region.Funding appropriated under the HCA is typically divided into two separate categories – Base and Competitive. Eligible applicants may submit requests for the Competitive Funding Round in response to this Notice of Funding Opportunity. A separate Notice of Funding Opportunity will be posted for Base Funds. RESTORE Act Direct Component - Non-Construction Activities

Treasury is publishing multiple funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) for its RESTORE Act grant programs. This announcement applies only to the Direct Component and is only for applications for eligible non-construction activities, including projects with or without a non-federal cost-share for another federally funded project or program. This announcement also includes planning assistance needed to prepare the Multiyear Implementation Plan (Multiyear Plan) required by the RESTORE Act. To apply for eligible activities involving construction and/or acquisition of real property or any other activity that requires a permit from a federal or state agency, including natural resource restoration projects, applicants should use the construction and real property acquisition funding opportunity announcement (GR-RDC-25-002).Trust Fund amounts are available to carry out eligible activities described in the RESTORE Act and Treasury’s implementing regulations at 31 CFR 34.201. These are: 1) Restoration and protection of the natural resources, ecosystems, fisheries, marine and wildlife habitats, beaches and coastal wetlands of the Gulf Coast region. 2) Mitigation of damage to fish, wildlife, and natural resources. 3) Implementation of a Federally- approved marine, coastal, or comprehensive conservation management plan, including fisheries monitoring. 4) Workforce development and job creation. 5) Improvements to or on State parks located in coastal areas affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. 6) Infrastructure projects benefitting the economy or ecological resources, including port infrastructure. 7) Coastal flood protection and related infrastructure.8) Promotion of tourism in the Gulf Coast region, including promotion of recreational fishing. 9) Promotion of the consumption of seafood harvested from the Gulf Coast region. 10) Planning assistance. 11) Administrative costs. Eligible activities 1 through 7 listed above must be carried out in the Gulf Coast region.

Este anuncio se aplica únicamente al Programa de Subvenciones de Investigación de los Centros de Excelencia. Los montos del Fondo Fiduciario están disponibles para establecer uno o más Centros de Excelencia a través de subpremios competitivos a entidades no gubernamentales y consorcios en la Región de la Costa del Golfo, incluidas instituciones de educación superior. Los fondos pueden usarse para establecer Centros de Excelencia, y por esos Centros de Excelencia para ciencia, tecnología y monitoreo en una o más de las siguientes disciplinas, según se describe en la Ley RESTORE y las regulaciones de implementación del Tesoro en 31 CFR 34.704: 1) Sostenibilidad, restauración y protección costera y deltaica, incluidas soluciones y tecnología que permitan a los ciudadanos vivir de manera segura y sostenible en un delta costero en la Región de la Costa del Golfo. 2) Investigación y monitoreo de ecosistemas de pesquerías y vida silvestre costeras en la Región de la Costa del Golfo. 3) Desarrollo de energía en alta mar, incluida investigación y tecnología para mejorar el desarrollo sostenible y seguro de los recursos energéticos en el Golfo de México. 4) Crecimiento sostenible y resiliente, desarrollo económico y comercial en la Región de la Costa del Golfo. 5) Observación, monitoreo y mapeo integral del Golfo de México. PROGRAMA DE INICIATIVAS DE VIVIENDA JUSTA INICIATIVA DE APLICACIÓN PRIVADA

El Congreso enmendó la Ley de Vivienda Justa en 1988 para establecer el Programa de Iniciativas de Vivienda Justa (FHIP) para proporcionar fondos a entidades para trabajar junto con HUD para "prevenir o eliminar prácticas de vivienda discriminatorias" 42 USC §3616a (a). El Congreso determinó en 1987, y ha afirmado cada año desde entonces a través de asignaciones, que HUD solo puede lograr su misión y obligaciones de vivienda justa apoyando una red de organizaciones que ayudan a educar al público y hacer cumplir los derechos de vivienda justa. Inicialmente un programa de demostración, el Congreso hizo permanente el FHIP en 1992 a través de la Ley de Vivienda y Desarrollo Comunitario de 1992. El programa se amplió en 1992 para abordar la creación de capacidad en áreas no atendidas, establecer una campaña nacional de medios y financiar un Mes Nacional de la Vivienda Justa. El FHIP proporciona fondos a organizaciones elegibles a través de subvenciones competitivas bajo cuatro iniciativas: la Iniciativa de Organizaciones de Vivienda Justa (FHOI), la Iniciativa de Aplicación Privada (PEI), la Iniciativa de Aplicación Administrativa (AEI) y la Iniciativa de Educación y Divulgación (EOI). Esta NOFO financia la PEI para proporcionar subvenciones a una red nacional de organizaciones privadas sin fines de lucro elegibles para la aplicación de la vivienda justa para realizar pruebas e investigar violaciones y hacer cumplir la Ley de Vivienda Justa, y las leyes estatales o locales con derechos y recursos equivalentes.
