The National Institutes of Health seek to advance their mission by providing the scientific community with the opportunity to request access to biospecimens from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive DevelopmentSM (ABCD) Study, the HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) Study, and the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study to conduct research consistent with the respective study objectives that will maximize the scientific utility of these limited samples. Applications should expand the knowledge gained from these studies and advance our understanding of the multiple genetic and environmental factors, such as exposure to substances, that affect health and disease over the course of a lifetime.

Les National Institutes of Health (NIH) cherchent à faire progresser leur mission en maintenant des collaborations de recherche internationales solides, productives et sécurisées à l'appui de la mission du NIH. Le projet de recherche international collaboratif du NIH (annonce parent) soutient les collaborations de recherche internationales. Cette opportunité met spécifiquement en œuvre une structure de récompense de prix nationaux principaux avec des prix étrangers indépendants qui sont liés au prix principal. Cette structure fournit au NIH une capacité de supervision pour les collaborations internationales et permet au NIH de suivre le financement international, tel qu'identifié dans le NOT-OD-25-104. Cette opportunité de financement est spécifiquement conçue pour que le NIH soutienne des collaborations internationales financées entre une organisation nationale principale et des organisations étrangères. Ce NOFO ne doit pas être utilisé pour des consultants étrangers, l'achat d'équipements ou de fournitures uniques auprès de fournisseurs étrangers, des collaborations étrangères qui n'impliquent pas de financement du NIH ou tout autre composant étranger qui n'entraînerait pas une sous-attribution étrangère. Le programme Institutional Development Award (IDeA) soutient le renforcement des capacités de recherche biomédicale dans les États qui ont historiquement reçu de faibles niveaux de financement du NIH. L'avis d'opportunité de financement (NOFO) des Centres d'excellence en recherche biomédicale : Phases d'expansion/durabilité (COBRE-E/S) soutient l'expansion et la durabilité des centres de recherche biomédicale dans les institutions éligibles à l'IDeA. Ces centres se concentreront sur le renforcement des capacités de recherche dans de vastes domaines scientifiques d'importance stratégique pour les institutions. L'objectif du COBRE-E est d'accroître la capacité de recherche en développant la base de professeurs institutionnels et en soutenant des projets de recherche et des installations centrales dans le nouveau domaine. L'objectif du COBRE-S est de maintenir l'infrastructure en poursuivant la croissance de la base de professeurs et en consolidant les noyaux de recherche.
