The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Bujumbura announces an open competition to implement a program to support U.S. policy objectives and promote shared interests . Projects must promote Freedom250 and align with policy goals such as making the United States safer, stronger, and more prosperous. Specifically, the projects should showcase American leadership and excellence in sports-particularly in Basketball, and health, notably by celebrating American sports excellence during the American decade of sports. The target audience should be youth and young professionals aged 15-35 representing emerging voices, as well as opinion leaders to convey information and reach the broader population. The program shall pursue four core goals: advancing U.S. public diplomacy, strengthening people-to-people ties, capitalizing on the Decade of Sport, and promoting physical and mental health. Together, these efforts will position Sports as a catalyst for goodwill, cultural exchange, and community well-being.

The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) invites proposals for cooperative agreements to implement the FY 2026 (Academic Year 2027-2028) Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) for Young Professionals program and outbound Congress-Bundestag/Bundesrat Staff Exchange (CBBSX) travel component. The CBYX for Young Professionals and CBBSX programs advance America’s national interests by building lasting personal and institutional relationships that promote prosperity and security between the United States and Germany. Key Activities: CBYX for Young Professionals: · Approximately 65 American and approximately 65 German participants, ages 18.5-24, engage in year-long academic and professional exchanges. · American participants complete two months of in-country German language training, study for one semester at a German university, technical, or professional school, and gain practical work experience. · German participants study for one semester at a U.S. university, college, technical, or professional school and gain practical work experience. · Both American and German participants live with host families throughout the program year. CBBSX: · Ten U.S. Congressional and 10 German parliamentary staffers participate in a short-term reciprocal exchange with each other’s legislatures. · The U.S. recipient organization provides travel and administrative support for the outbound CBBSX exchange by coordinating round-trip airfare for the U.S. delegation. This means that only proposals about things at least 100 years old can get funding. Anything newer than that will not be funded.

Lancé pour accélérer la lutte contre la prolifération du moustique tigre dans le département des Bouches-du-Rhône, il cible : Les études et des expérimentations innovantes pour la lutte antivectorielle ; Les moyens de détection de la présence de virus dans les espaces clefs (zones urbanisées et bâtiments sensibles) ; Les moyens de sensibilisation et de prévention ; Les solutions de lutte alternatives ou fondées sur la nature. L’aide consistera en une subvention d’investissement. Les projets retenus devront obligatoirement solliciter une subvention auprès du Département. L’aide sera formalisée par une convention et approuvée en Commission permanente. L’intervention du Département sera modulée jusqu’à un plafond de 70% du montant total de l’équipement engagé par le bénéficiaire dans la limite de 80 000 € par projet.
