Lo scopo di questo avviso di opportunità di finanziamento (NOFO) è facilitare l'ingresso di ricercatori in molteplici aree ad alta priorità della ricerca sull'uso di sostanze, inclusa la comorbilità con l'HIV. Il programma Science Track Award for Research Transition (START) mira a fornire ai ricercatori l'opportunità di raccogliere dati preliminari che li aiuteranno a ottenere futuri finanziamenti per la ricerca e a far progredire le loro carriere scientifiche.
