The due date for proposals is August 18, 2026. An informational webinar about this opportunity will occur at 1 p.m. Eastern Time on June 16. However, a budget narrative and table of work effort will be required. The Science/Technical/Management section of proposals is limited to six pages. While the letters and numbers are different for each element within ROSES (A.10, B.3, etc.) the basic configuration is always the same, e.g., the letter indicates the Science Division (A is Earth Science, B is Heliophysics etc.) and whatever the letter, #1 is always the division overview. In 2025, most program elements will be set up for application via Grants.gov only if requested at least 30 days in advance of the due date. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD) released its annual omnibus Research Announcement (NRA), Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) – 2025 (OMB Approval Number 2700-0092, CFDA Number 43.001) on February 21, 2025. In this case "omnibus" means that this NRA has many individual program elements, each with its own due dates and topics. All together these cover the wide range of basic and applied supporting research and technology supported by SMD. Awards will be made as grants, cooperative agreements, or contracts depending on the nature of the work proposed. However, most extramural research awards deriving from ROSES will be grants, and many program elements of ROSES specifically exclude contracts, because contracts would not be appropriate for the nature of the work solicited. Funded Co-Is at government labs will receive inter- or intra-agency transfers . The typical period of performance for an award is three years, but some programs may allow up to five years and others specify shorter periods. In most cases, organizations of every type, Government and private, for profit and not-for-profit, domestic and foreign (with some caveats), may submit proposals without restriction on teaming arrangements. The Blueprint Neurotherapeutics Network (BPN) invites applications from neuroscience investigators seeking support to advance their small molecule drug discovery and development projects into the clinic. Participants in the BPN are responsible for conducting all studies that involve disease- or target-specific assays, models, and other research tools and receive funding for all activities to be conducted in their own laboratories. In addition, applicants will collaborate with NIH-funded consultants and can augment their project with NIH contract research organizations (CROs) that specialize in medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, formulations development, chemical synthesis including under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Phase I clinical testing. Projects can enter either at the Discovery stage, to optimize promising hit compounds through medicinal chemistry to the Development stage, to advance a single development candidate through Investigational New Drug (IND)-enabling toxicology studies and phase I clinical testing. Alternatively, projects can enter at the Development stage and progress in a shorter period to IND enabling toxicology studies and phase I clinical testing. BPN awardee Institutions retain their assignment of IP rights and gain assignment of IP rights from the BPN contractors (and thereby control the patent prosecution and licensing negotiations) for drug candidates developed in this program.

The NCS is a dedicated toll-free, US national communication system that provides information, referral services, crisis intervention, prevention approaches, and other supportive services to vulnerable, at-risk, and runaway and homeless youth, and their families or legal guardians. The purpose of the NCS is to a) prevent youth from running away and becoming homeless, b) link youth with a family member or guardian, and/or an available resource that can provide and/or assist the youth in acquiring needed services, and c) increase prevention education to reduce runaway incidents and youth homelessness.​

FY 2026 SNAP Earnings Verification Support Grant

The USDA’s Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA) works to nourish those in need through financially sound programs that promote health and work, as well as champion the productivity of American agriculture. The purpose of these grants is to support SNAP State agencies in meeting these requirements and testing different income verification services to determine the most cost-effective solution. The EVS grants support SNAP State agencies with their efforts to electronically verify the earned income of SNAP applicants and recipients. States may use grant funds to contract with commercial vendors to use third-party income databases (TPIDs) that provide electronic verification of employment and earnings in support of these functions. FNA announces, through this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), up to $38 million in grant funds for the fiscal year (FY) 2026 SNAP EVS grant opportunity. . The NOFA provides the maximum allocation amount for each State. Funds are being offered noncompetitively using a formula-based distribution approach and will be available to the 53 State agencies that administer SNAP. The proposed award period of performance is 24 months beginning September 2026 through September 30, 2028.

The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program supports active research participation by undergraduate students in any of the areas of research funded by the National Science Foundation. REU projects involve students in meaningful ways in ongoing research programs or in research projects specifically designed for the REU program. This solicitation features two mechanisms for supporting student research: REU Sites are based on independent proposals to initiate and conduct projects that engage a number of students in research. REU Sites may be based in a single discipline or academic department or may offer interdisciplinary or multi-department research opportunities with a coherent intellectual theme. REU Supplements may be included as a component of proposals for new or renewal NSF grants or cooperative agreements or may be requested for ongoing NSF-funded research projects. REU projects with an international dimension are welcome. Undergraduate student participants in either REU Sites or REU Supplements must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals,or U.S. permanent residents. Students do not apply to NSF to participate in REU activities, and NSF does not select students for the opportunities. This program will organize a national cross-sector Alumni Summit to equip emerging leaders from the public, academic, and non-governmental organization (NGO) sectors with practical tools, strategic insights, and ethical frameworks regarding innovation, emerging technologies, and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to address institutional and societal challenges. Applicants are encouraged to propose scalable models and sustainable partnerships that can extend program impact beyond the initial funding period. 1. Project Background, Goals, and Objectives Rapidly evolving digital technologies are transforming governance, civic spaces, and public administration. However, navigating these shifts requires robust democratic leadership, transparency, and strategic frameworks to protect open information environments. Argentina's exchange alumni network represents a high-potential, multi-sector human network. While there is strong interest across public and civil society institutions in leveraging technological innovation, leaders require deeper exposure to secure, transparent, and ethical approaches to emerging technologies aligned with U.S. civic values. By building a high-value professional pipeline, this initiative provides a trust-based alternative to the transactional outreach of strategic competitors, reinforcing long-term bilateral collaboration and institutional excellence across Argentina's provinces. Project Audience(s): Primary beneficiaries must be alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs (including, but not limited to, YLAI, IVLP, Access, and Fulbright) residing in Argentina who represent: • Public sector officials and municipal administrators. • Academic researchers, faculty, and university leadership. • Civil society practitioners and non-governmental organization (NGO) leaders. • Private sector. Applicants should clearly describe participant recruitment and selection, prioritizing geographical diversity across Argentina's provinces. Project Goal: The project goal is to enhance regional stability and institutional resilience in Argentina by equipping multi-sector exchange alumni with the leadership skills, collaborative networks, and ethical frameworks needed to implement responsible technology and innovation, thereby strengthening good governance and safeguarding open information environments. Project Objectives: Applicants should design projects that contribute to the following objectives: Objective 1: Increase capacity in good governance, civic education, and responsible technology usage among at least 50 multi-sector exchange alumni within the program performance period. Participating alumni (at least 50) will demonstrate an enhanced capacity to apply tools like AI responsibly to resolve societal and administrative challenges within their home institutions. The U.S. Department of State’s U.S. Consulate General Lagos announces an open competition to implement a program to increase two-way trade and investment between the United States and Nigeria by building commercial relationships, professional knowledge, legal infrastructure, and institutional connections that enable U.S. companies and Nigerian creative/digital professionals to partner and grow together. This Annual Program Statement (APS) is issued under the Consulate's commercial diplomacy mandate to generate measurable economic benefit for U.S. companies, support U.S. jobs, and expand market opportunities for Nigerian creative and innovation economy professionals across seven priority themes: (1) Intellectual Property Infrastructure; (2) Exchange Alumni Network Activation; (3) Streaming, Digital Rights, and Platform Monetization; (4) Co-Production and Market Access — Film, Music, Fashion; (5) U.S. Education Access and Tech Credentialing; (6) Gaming, Sports Business, and Emerging Tech; and (7) Content Creation for U.S. Social Media Platforms and AI Tools. Target audiences include Nigerian creative and tech professionals; entrepreneurs; exchange program alumni; university faculty; and U.S. companies in streaming, entertainment law, fashion, venture capital, and AI seeking Nigerian partnerships and talent. This program strengthens U.S.-Nigeria commercial ties, positions U.S. companies to benefit from Nigeria's dynamic creative economy, and leverages public diplomacy assets in southern Nigeria, including 8,000 exchange alumni and 15 American Spaces as instruments of economic engagement generating opportunity on both sides of the Atlantic.

Education and Outreach to Tribal Producers through the Tribal Food Safety Alliance

The primary purpose of this program is to develop and provide education and/or training, and outreach regarding FDA's Produce Safety Rule to produce farmers who are members of federally recognized Tribes. The program is expected to help Tribal farmers access appropriate technical assistance and may include Tribal farmers who are not currently required to comply with the rule but are interested in complying or see economic benefits in doing so. All activities should consider Tribal history, culture, and regional agricultural practices.

CyberNext: Advance Cybersecurity and AI Readiness

Project Background, Goals, and Objectives Albania has experienced multiple cyberattacks in recent years, placing increasingly digital government services and critical institutions at significant risk. While Albania is actively embracing AI, substantial skill gaps remain – gaps that American expertise is uniquely positioned to address. The “CyberNext: Advanced Cybersecurity and AI Readiness” program strengthens Albania’s cybersecurity and AI capabilities by leveraging U.S. technology, standards, and expertise. The program moves beyond basic awareness to build practical skills, improve resilience against digital threats, and deepen understanding of U.S. leadership in technological innovation. This initiative builds on previous American Corners programming in cybersecurity and AI that established a cohort of young people with baseline knowledge and awareness. It complements ongoing U.S. Embassy efforts to strengthen Albania's cyber resilience and digital infrastructure in alignment with American technology standards. The program creates a foundation for sustained engagement with Albanian youth and professionals who will shape the country’s digital future. The program advances key U.S. policy objectives by promoting American leadership in AI and cybersecurity, thereby defending digital openness and protecting space for open and authentic communication in the digital sphere. It equips Albanian professionals with skills and knowledge essential to shared security responsibilities, strengthening their capacity to contribute to regional stability, protects American interests abroad, consistent with the America First foreign policy that prioritizes building capable Allies and defending critical infrastructure against shared threats. All activities must demonstrate strong linkages to U.S. expertise, technology, and best practices in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Proposals should clearly articulate how these connections advance program objectives while serving U.S. interests in regional security and digital infrastructure development. The program must reaffirm its core purpose: equip Albanian audiences with cybersecurity and AI capabilities through results-focused engagement that produces measurable changes in the attitudes and behaviours of young cybersecurity professionals. Project Audience : Young Albanians aged 18-35, including university students, young professionals, startup leaders, and aspiring tech innovators with baseline understanding of cyber and AI issues seeking to build practical, advanced skills in cybersecurity and digital protection. Project Goal : Strengthen Albania's cyber resilience and digital infrastructure in alignment with American technology standards. Increase public support for enhanced cybersecurity capabilities and greater responsibility for regional security and stability. Project Objectives : The project should engage at least 100 participants per Corner in cybersecurity and AI programming activities that build digital protection skills, foster teamwork, and enhance Albania’s overall cyber and AI readiness in support of U.S. leadership and global security. Suggested activities may include workshops through simulations and scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, tabletop exercises, competitions, innovation sprints etc. At a minimum, projects should address the following objectives: Objective 1 – Advanced Threat Detection and Response Skills: Equip participants with intermediate-level practical skills to recognize, prevent, and respond to cyber threats, drawing on U.S. frameworks and best practices. Objective 2 – Responsible and Secure AI Deployment: Build participants’ understanding of AI risks and opportunities in cybersecurity, including how AI can both enable and counter attacks, and develop their ability to design and apply AI solutions ethically and securely, informed by U.S. standards and AI ethics guidance. Objective 3 – Operational Resilience and Professional Readiness: Strengthen participants’ critical thinking, teamwork, and decision‑making under pressure through realistic cyber and AI scenarios, preparing them to operate effectively in incident response teams and contribute to Albania’s broader cyber resilience.
