Support and coordinate the various stakeholders for the de-waterproofing of public spaces

The process of de-waterproofing and greening public spaces (squares, parking lots, schoolyards, playgrounds, etc.) has become a key issue in the context of climate change. It aims for integrated surface rainwater management (infiltration) at all scales to limit runoff phenomena.

Integrated surface rainwater management (infiltration) aims to:

• limit runoff phenomena,
• limit the saturation of sanitation systems,
• limit flooding,
• preserve natural resources by promoting groundwater recharge,
• preserve water quality,
• reintroduce nature,
• promote biodiversity,
• and contribute to reducing the urban heat island effect

Following a diagnostic phase previously conducted on site by departmental services and their partners, tailored support is offered to bring the de-waterproofing project to fruition.

This support includes:

• Conducting a site assessment
• Support and advice on site development (technical advice for project management and drafting of the general framework of the specifications)
• Coordination between the various stakeholders in the study phase
• Assistance with preparing grant application files
