Support the development of actions and projects in favor of biodiversity, carried out by local authorities.

In order to help EPCIs and their municipalities develop and implement cross-cutting projects in favor of biodiversity, the region offers local authorities the opportunity to benefit from support from partners it supports (Union Régionale des Centre Permanents d’Initiatives pour l’Environnement, Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux, Conservatoire Botanique National de Brest, Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels…).

The AMI will make it possible to identify community projects that can benefit from the engineering offer.

It aims to support the “pre-project” consolidation phase with a view to soliciting financial tools (Fonds vert, mechanisms of the Agence de l’eau Loire Bretagne and the Departments, patronage, etc.) for the operational implementation of these projects.

The targeted projects must concern:

• The preservation, conservation and restoration of local biodiversity,
• The restoration and sustainable management of natural sites,
• The experimentation of practices and technical itineraries favorable to biodiversity,
• The emergence of concrete and operational actions for the ecological restoration of terrestrial environments, in coherence with national and regional biodiversity strategies and mechanisms,
• The adaptation of territories and their economic activities to the effects of climate change (notably through Nature-based Solutions).
