Support for the maintenance of marsh roads

Approximately 20% of the Vendée territory is located in marshland. The geological nature of the soil leads to a faster deterioration of the road network. Indeed, marsh clays (Holocene clay), the substratum of the roads concerned, are prone to swelling or shrinking depending on the season and the water content of the soil.

The program aims to help these municipalities maintain roads located on this geological layer of marsh clays.

Aid ceiling set at 10,000 euros per linear kilometer.
