Support the inclusion of young people into the professional world

The proportion of young people in training (16 – 25 years old) is lower in the territory than in Gironde. This is due to the absence of higher education institutions, which leads young people to pursue their schooling and training outside the territory, particularly in urban areas (Bordeaux, Pau, La Rochelle).

The arrival of the high school in Créon could be an opportunity to develop local training programs or to serve as a training platform.

Finally, youth unemployment remains high and primarily affects young people in the territory with no (or little) training and/or academic and professional qualifications.

What is at stake is therefore to:

• Train young people, especially those in difficulty
• Develop the desire to undertake and integrate into professional life
