Support the development of responsible production and consumption

Strategic priority:

As part of its attractiveness strategy, the Coëvrons territory affirms its desire to build an image of a gastronomic territory, notably by revealing the culinary identity of the Coëvrons. The implementation of a Territorial Food Project since 2021 supports the realization of this emerging dynamic. At the same time, the Coëvrons territory is facing a decline in local shops and services, particularly outside the Evron hub.

The challenge: to develop a mode of production and consumption that respects the environment, is beneficial for the economy and good for health, to improve access to local products, to support and promote local productions and producers, to strengthen local roots and an economy focused on needs.

Operational objectives:

• Maintain and develop sustainable and varied agricultural activities, adapted to the challenges of climate change
• Support the transition to agriculture under official quality labels
• Act for healthy food for all
• Develop short supply chains
• Strengthen local commerce, services and crafts
