In a context of increasing pressure on water resources due to climate change, the water agency's support aims to promote the reduction of water withdrawals and the adoption, everywhere and by everyone, of more water-efficient practices or uses, in application of the national water sobriety objective of the Water Plan. To this end, the agency particularly supports the dynamic emergence or revision of territorial water management projects (PTGE), so that water sharing and anticipation of climate change are organized through territorial dialogue and at a coherent scale from a hydrographic or hydrogeological point of view. As a priority, the agency supports the territories most under pressure regarding water resources, identified by the Water Development and Management Master Plans (SDAGE).
