Supporting studies of Landes centralities for the revitalization, dynamization and restructuring of city centers and town centers

A municipality registered as a centrality at the departmental level, engaged in a process of revitalization, dynamization or restructuring of its town center or city center, must first carry out a definition study for an overall development project of the "Reference Plan" type or similar programming document.

This study consists of a diagnosis of the situation describing the symptoms of devitalization, the needs for restructuring or dynamization proposing a strategy developed in consultation with the EPCI and a multi-year action program based on 4 themes that should be addressed in the operational program: housing, commerce and services, living environment and environment, and public spaces in connection with mobility, energy and ecological transition as well as equipment for the population.

The Department's services must be associated with the process through the establishment of an ad hoc steering committee.
