Acquire knowledge on aquatic and marine environments and their biodiversity

Several aids concern this objective:

1. General studies and scientific mediation actions:

General studies concern the following areas:

• understanding and knowledge of the current state and functioning of the hydroecosystem and hydrogeology, as well as the impact of the pressures exerted on them;
• understanding the evolution of the functioning of the hydroecosystem, hydrogeology and the land-sea continuum in the longer term under the action of global changes;
• understanding the governance of the water world, and knowledge of the societal, economic, regulatory dynamics of the water world, particularly under the action of global changes

2. Programming studies:

Cross-cutting programming studies at the scale of coherent hydrographic units and priority action areas (large water bodies or groups of water bodies, reference contract, catchment areas, areas sensitive to microbiological pollution, ...).
