Acquire and develop accessibility tools by organizations operating in several artistic and cultural fields - Works Accessibility Fund

The Works Accessibility Fund enables the acquisition and development of accessibility tools by organizations operating in several artistic and cultural fields. In application of the international convention on the rights of persons with disabilities signed in New York on March 30, 2007*, to promote the participation of persons with disabilities in cultural life, the Ministry of Culture supports the commitment of cultural organizations in their policy of accessibility to cultural offerings.

What is the Works Accessibility Fund?

Since 2018, the accessibility fund has helped to contribute to the effort of developing actions and devices to remove barriers to participation in cultural life, for people with disabilities, the elderly, and all people housed or supported in medico-social establishments.

The credits granted in this context will focus on the acquisition and development of accessibility tools and should make it possible to support the policy of access to cultural offerings for people with disabilities.
