REGULATION DESCRIPTION
To encourage local authorities, public establishments, associations, or private owners to preserve and enhance sensitive natural areas (ENS), the Department can support projects related to this policy:
- participation in the acquisition of land located in an ENS by a municipality or by a competent inter-municipal cooperation public establishment
- participation in the development and maintenance of natural areas, wooded or not, belonging to public authorities or their public establishments and open to the public, or belonging to private owners
- participation in the acquisition by a municipality, an inter-municipal cooperation public establishment, or the conservancy for the coastal and lake shores, of woods and forests intended for the attribution of ownership or enjoyment of woods and forests, subject to their opening to the public
