GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND LOGIC OF INTERVENTION

a) Strategic objective

Faced with the demographic renewal that the territory has been experiencing since the 2000s, the Pays Comminges Pyrénées must encourage the arrival of new populations (generally younger and with a higher proportion of higher socio-professional categories than the existing Comminges population) while maintaining the recognized quality of life of the territory. Indeed, demographic growth has been accompanied by an offer of services and facilities to meet the needs of the population and support social changes (aging, newcomers, etc.), but needs remain unmet, particularly in terms of health (in the WHO sense: physical, mental and social well-being), children/youth, and leisure.

The challenges: Strengthen the offer of local services and facilities throughout the territory by relying on structuring living areas, while supporting the "outreach" approach (deployment of local service centers and mobile services).
