Aid in the construction and rehabilitation of cultural facilities

As part of its policy dedicated to cultural development, the Department supports the construction of exclusively cultural facilities or the rehabilitation of cultural facilities requiring major structural work.

The aid rate defined in the regulations for structuring projects is applied.

• Derogatory eligible expenditure floor for creation and rehabilitation projects: €500,000 excl. VAT.

Eligible expenditure ceiling: €2,500,000 excl. VAT, i.e. aid capped at €500,000 excl. VAT. Rules for combining with other provisions: This aid cannot be combined with the departmental aid "for the first cultural facility".
