Aid for the construction, restructuring or rehabilitation of local sports facilities

The promotion of physical and sporting activity has been declared a Great National Cause 2024, in order to combat sedentariness and place sport at the heart of society.

Considering the importance of the presence throughout the territory of facilities dedicated to sports practice, which contributes to the emancipation of young people from Landes, the Departmental Council of Landes supports the efforts of municipalities and groups of municipalities for the construction, restructuring or rehabilitation of local sports facilities.

A capital grant may be awarded, through structuring investment projects, to municipalities or groups of municipalities for the construction, restructuring or rehabilitation of local sports facilities promoting the presence of facilities adapted to sports practices in all territories.

The aid rate defined in the regulations for structuring projects is applied.

• The floor of eligible expenses is set at €60,000 excluding tax by derogation from Part I of the regulations.
• The ceiling of eligible expenses is set at €500,000 excluding tax.

Departmental aid can only be granted for one application every two years, submitted by the same community.
