Aid for the construction, restructuring or rehabilitation and equipping of places dedicated to youth information

A community can support a Youth Information Point (PIJ). These places aim to offer young people a reception and information space in all areas that concern them in their daily lives and the exercise of their rights: education, training, employment, trades, practical life, abroad, holidays, culture, sports, leisure, housing, law, health, integration, orientation, support for youth projects…

PIJs must be integrated into a global educational approach for young people and develop a local youth information project that takes into account:

• the territory: its strengths and weaknesses,
• partners and other youth structures: search for coherence and complementarity,
• the public: who? where? what age group? what steps?
• priority intervention themes.

Considering the importance of the quality of facilities dedicated to Youth for the better information and orientation of young people from Landes and therefore the development of the department, the Departmental Council of Landes supports the efforts of municipalities and communities of municipalities for the construction, restructuring or rehabilitation and equipping of places dedicated to youth.
