Assisting in the creation, development, and professionalization of a solidarity garage or a social rental service

Agil'ess Network, the national network of solidarity garages and renters

Our association aims to bring together and work for the development and professionalization of solidarity garages and renters who work to promote mobility for all. In 2023, it brings together 50 structures across the country.

Social and solidarity garages and renters are Social and Solidarity Economy structures offering solutions and support adapted to people in precarious situations and/or in professional integration: repair, maintenance, low-cost vehicle rental (car, bicycle, etc.), but also social micro-transport, mechanics training workshop... A majority of them are Structures d'Insertion par l'Activité Economique (SIAE), recruiting people far from employment. For several years, solidarity garages and renters have been developing solutions with a low environmental impact (bicycle rental, electric vehicle, carpooling, etc.).
