Aid for the reuse of packaging

The law on combating waste and the circular economy (AGEC law), promulgated on February 10, 2020, and the law on combating climate change and strengthening resilience to its effects (Climate and Resilience law) of August 22, 2021, set ambitious objectives to promote the development of packaging reuse: 10% of packaging reused by 2027.

The development of packaging reuse is fully part of waste prevention initiatives and more responsible consumption, by contributing to extending their lifespan. It thus constitutes an effective lever for reducing waste production and resource depletion.
