Improve the energy efficiency of public lighting and reduce its environmental impact

The SDED 52 has had the "public lighting" competence since 2008, with the aim of offering member communities of the Syndicate an optimized maintenance service for their public lighting installations, as well as an investment program to act on light sources, electrical supply networks and ignition and extinction control devices.

These investments, designed with the member communities and validated each year by the syndicate committee, contribute to achieving 3 major objectives:
1) reduce the energy consumption of the public lighting stock,
2) achieve better lighting efficiency while ensuring a reduction in its environmental impact,
3) secure its operation.

The SDED 52 ensures the project management and project execution of these operations and calls, according to the provisions of its financial regulations, for a contribution from the commune of between 30% and 80% of the ex-tax amount of the works.
