DEVELOPMENT OF NATURAL SPORTS AREAS, SITES AND ROUTES

Objective

To help managers of natural sports areas, sites and routes (ESI) to develop and equip natural sports practice areas.

Eligible operations

– Feasibility study for the development of an ESI

– Development/equipment on areas, sites and routes:

• accessibility: access road, footbridges, parking area, turning area
• opening of a path
• safety and protection: handrail, earthworks, stonework…
• technical facilities and equipment related to the practice of nature sports: launching, pontoons, earthworks, cliff equipment…
• environmental impact management: dry toilets, …
• public reception facilities: reception hut, …
• signage subject to compliance with the departmental charter
• land acquisition allowing the land sustainability of the ESI, its access and/or parking

NB: for works located on private property of private individuals, land ownership must be ensured through a lease or a commitment to open to the public for a minimum of 10 years.

The developments must be carried out in compliance with the controlled development of nature sports (landscape integration, consultation with different users, limitation of environmental impact, …)
