AMI Ecological redirection of commercial zones

In a context of accelerated climate change and the scarcity of natural resources, it is necessary to question the future of commercial zones, particularly peri-urban ones. Often monofunctional, centered on the use of individual cars, composed of energy-intensive buildings, crisscrossed by vast oversized parking lots, etc., they accumulate fragilities and generate numerous negative externalities. All of this qualifies them as a priority for restructuring or even a complete requalification of their uses.

This is why the Region, in view of the objectives it has set itself within the framework of its Regional Planning, Sustainable Development and Territorial Equality Scheme and its Climate plan, proposes to support "ecological redirection" initiatives aimed at making this economic and development model more compatible with the current and future ecological limits of the territories. The goal is to strengthen the sustainability and resilience of these spaces in the face of the socio-economic and environmental upheavals already underway.

Under their spatial planning competence, only public intermunicipal cooperation establishments (EPCI) can apply. Nevertheless, the actions specified in their application can be carried out by:
