Through the Caisse des Dépôts, the Banque des Territoires offers a service for depositing sums of money while awaiting the resolution of a dispute or with a view to carrying out a project. This free deposit can be requested in the following situations:

• Expropriation with a view to carrying out a project;
• Pre-emption of real estate;
• Establishment of a PPRT (Technological Risk Prevention Plan);
• Occurrence of environmental risks in the territory;
• Desire to guarantee the completion of a housing development;
• Desire to ensure a financial contribution during a social plan.
