What it is The incentive provides a non-repayable grant for expenses related to the start-up and operation of the first three years of individual professional activity. The amount of the grant is equal to 50% of the eligible expenses. The minimum grant is €1,500.00 and the maximum grant is €20,000.00. The three-year period corresponds to the first three years of carrying out the individual professional activity starting from the date of issuance of the VAT number attribution certificate by the competent territorial Revenue Agency. In the event of a change in the ATECO code, the start of the three-year period coincides with the date of change of the ATECO code. The change must refer to a professional activity that could not have been carried out with the previously held ATECO code. The application can be submitted twice within the three-year period until the maximum grant limit of €20,000.00 is reached. Applications submitted after the expiry of the three-year activity period are not eligible for funding. By way of derogation, grant applications submitted exclusively for expenses already incurred in the twelve months preceding the date of application, incurred within the three-year activity period, can be submitted within sixty days from the expiry of the three-year period itself.
