Create new natural spaces and connections

Purpose of the aid:

To finance on a case-by-case basis any project owner who would contribute to the objective of connecting the Hauts-de-Seine residents to nature, by greening spaces of more than 5000 m2 or green links allowing to connect different existing natural spaces.

Goal:

To place every resident of Hauts-de-Seine within a 15-minute walk of a natural space and connect them to an eco-landscape network of more than 3,300 hectares of parks, gardens, promenades and forests.

Principles of action:

• Create new spaces and connections. Acquire, develop, host, maintain, renovate, enhance are the strong verbs of the Department's strategy
• Develop islands of greenery and freshness by enhancing neglected areas and other urban interstices
• Generate partnerships to extend its action and create new opportunities
• Enhance natural spaces for their positive contribution to urban well-being, human health, biodiversity protection and adaptation to climate change.
