Create bicycle parking: Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur regional cycle route scheme

Cycle routes are attractive and secure long-distance cycling routes, intended for a varied public and uses (tourist itinerancy, leisure, utility). Their interest for the Region is to allow the economic development of the territories crossed, for which they also constitute structuring axes for daily cycling mobility.

These routes work well if they are:

• Continuous;
• Well connected to transport hubs (with bicycle parking);
• Equipped with services for cyclists (accommodation, bicycle rental, etc.);
• Promoted to the general local, national and international public (website, social networks, cycle guides, etc.).

To develop train + bike and coach/bus + bike intermodality. The creation of bicycle parking in or in the immediate vicinity of eligible PEMs is therefore supported, so that each PEM has at least 10 open parking spaces and provides easy access to cycle routes.
