Depollution of industries and other non-agricultural economic activities: Purification works for Medium Enterprises

Eligible actions include:

- actions to reduce chronic pollution: collection, purification or pre-treatment systems for polluted effluents, treatment of associated by-products, collection and storage of concentrated effluents or greasy effluents before sending to an authorized center;

- the relocation of discharge points to less sensitive receiving environments or the establishment of vegetated discharge zones;

- the installation of dry toilets or separate urine collection;

- wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) classified under ICPE section 2752, regardless of the legal nature of the project owner.

Hydrocarbon separators are only eligible in exceptional cases, when rainwater is likely to be significantly polluted due to activities carried out by the industrial facility or in the case of open-air polluting activities (metal recyclers, end-of-life vehicle dismantlers, for example) or in particularly sensitive situations to avoid accidental pollution (for example, when it is a unloading, refueling or service station distribution area).
