Context:
The Pays Vitryat is actively seeking to strengthen its attractiveness and competitiveness by improving its living environment and boosting its service offer.
Maintaining the quality of life for residents and welcoming newcomers requires a solid offer and territorial network in terms of services and facilities. Currently, the territorial organization is mainly centralized around Vitry-le-François. It is therefore crucial to support communities and private actors in developing or maintaining a first level of commercial and non-commercial services (in the social and solidarity economy sphere), particularly in relay towns, while facilitating their access. The objective is to prevent residents from being systematically forced to travel to neighboring territories, such as Châlons-en-Champagne and Saint-Dizier.
Another major issue concerns the health sector. The Pays Vitryat is facing a shortage of general practitioners and specialists, as well as the threat of medical desertification.
