Developing French-German Bilingual Education

Objectives:

Through this program, the Grand Est Region is supporting the development of Franco-German bilingual education, based on early learning, in both the public and associative sectors.

Nature and amount of aid:

The aid takes the form of a grant.

Support for the equipment of public parity bilingual classes operating in a RPI (Rural Primary School Grouping) mode: Investment section. Flat-rate amount:

• one-time aid of €7,700 for the opening of the first class in one of the member municipalities of the RPI,
• aid of €4,600 per additional class opened in the RPI.

Operational support for associative and private bilingual classes that are not under contract with the State:

Operating section. Flat-rate amount: aid of €20,000 per parity bilingual class not under contract.
