Develop services and mobility in the mountains

CIMA is part of an interregional approach that determines guidelines for the entire Alpine massif in all sectors of activity with a "mountain" specificity (tourism, services, agriculture, pastoralism, forest, energy transition). It is divided into two schemes: Espaces valléens and hors Espaces valléens. The "CIMA Services and mountain mobility" aid falls within the hors Espaces valléens field.

The scheme aims to provide new answers to needs related to:

• Improving living conditions in the mountains for year-round or seasonal residents, particularly through exemplary development operations integrating housing (diversified housing offer and energy performance of new or rehabilitated housing), the development of public spaces and facilities (shops and services, including those offered to families), services for employees, including those specific to seasonal workers, access to employment and training, etc.;
• Mobility strategies and services, particularly those for: last miles; accessibility to villages and resorts, to tourist sites and regular or on-demand connections with towns in valleys, whether multimodal mobility solutions (Multimodal Exchange Hubs PEM), soft, decarbonized energy, as well as support for valley lift projects and interregional public transport (lign…
