Develop a MaaS project: for single access to local mobility services (Training)

MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) aims for single access to all mobility offerings. It is developing strongly in France, thanks to technological and regulatory advances. Faced with user expectations, local authorities must evolve their systems to move towards MaaS. But the subject is complex, both technically and in terms of governance. Local authorities must master this complexity to successfully carry out their MaaS project, and make it a tool at the service of their public policies. As for private actors, they are generally positioned in a sub-domain of MaaS (route calculation, mobile ticket, payment, application) and must extend their skills to best meet the expectations of local authorities or employers. Data management and exchanges between partners are essential to the success of these projects.

Educational objectives

At the end of the module, the trainee must be able to:

• Identify the possible modalities for the development of service mobility in a territory and their contribution to mobility policies
• Understand the different economic models of MaaS
• Master the challenges of MaaS development
• Know how to find essential documentary resources on MaaS and emblematic projects
