Developing a non-profit driving school

Non-profit driving schools are associations that welcome individuals undergoing social and/or professional integration, who present risks from the perspective of their socialization or integration.

Their purpose is to prevent or manage social risks, to enable access to mobility, to enable the mobilization of people lacking or having broken ties, and to support social and professional integration.
The teaching of traffic rules and driving is considered a vector for integration through a holistic approach to the individual (relationship to rules and law, self-esteem, learning, fundamental knowledge, spatial-temporal orientation, personal motivations, health, cognitive development, social recognition and integration) and through the dual dimension of "training - education".

The decree of January 8, 2001, relating to the accreditation conditions for ECSA (non-profit driving schools) specifies the regulatory and legislative framework that applies to these associations, which rely on driving and road safety training to facilitate social or professional integration or reintegration.
