The European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund - aims to support the EU Green Deal and a sustainable blue economy by implementing actions in the field of Union maritime policy, the common fisheries policy and the EU's international ocean governance agenda.

• Total call budget: 4 million euros
• Grant amount: between 1 million and 2.5 million euros
• Co-financing rate: up to 80% of total eligible costs

Objectives

• Facilitate the implementation of maritime spatial planning in the EU, in particular through the effective application of Directive 2014/89 establishing a framework for maritime spatial planning
• Fund projects developing innovative responses to address specific challenges that EU Member States may encounter when implementing, monitoring and/or revising their maritime spatial plans
