Engaging in an ecological transition within my community: the preservation of species and natural environments

Based on nationally shared guidelines, "Territories committed to nature" is implemented in willing regions with local support provided by the Regional Biodiversity Agencies, or a regional collective. The "Territory committed to Nature" program aims to foster, recognize, and support territories engaged in a progress approach in favor of biodiversity. "TEN" recognizes the importance of community involvement in the recovery of biodiversity, and wishes to provide support and visibility to territories wishing to commit or develop their actions on this theme. Faced with climate change, valuing and conserving biodiversity also ensures health, well-being, and security for today's and tomorrow's citizens. Concretely, commitment to the TEN approach allows communities to: Benefit from support from the animation unit and relay partners (CEN, Cerema, LPO...) to develop, formalize their action plan, and carry out their projects.
