Enrich and restore museum collections and library heritage funds (FRAM, FRAR and FRRAB)

The system aims to promote the restoration and enrichment of collections of "Musées de France" and heritage funds of Occitanie libraries. The FRAM (Regional Acquisition Fund for French Museums), the FRAR (Regional Aid Fund for the Restoration of French Museum Collections) and the FRRAB (Regional Restoration and Acquisition Fund for Libraries) are funded annually by the State and the Region.

Institutions can apply for:

1- for "Musées de France", for labeled collections,

• the FRAR for the restoration of objects,
• the FRAM for the purchase of major or remarkable works;

2- for libraries, the FRRAB, for acquisitions of heritage funds such as old works, incunabula, autograph letters and manuscripts, artists' books, etc. In addition, the FRRAB can be requested for the restoration and conservation of heritage collections, as well as their enhancement as part of particularly significant operations.

The beneficiaries of FRAM and FRAR are institutions labeled by the State "Musées de France" and those of FRRAB are libraries of public communities with heritage funds.
