Maintaining roads, programming road maintenance work, and limiting manager risks

This action consists of providing basic notions in the management and execution of road maintenance aimed at preserving the heritage and limiting risks for contracting authorities (Municipalities or EPCI).

These actions concern the maintenance of all components of the road network: pavement, green spaces, structures, signage, etc.

Simple methods for programming periodic pavement maintenance work are also addressed, with a strategy specific to each local authority based on the nature of its heritage (quantitative and qualitative) and the allocated budget. Initially, no funding is required for engineering support. The Department provides the local authority with the working time of departmental staff free of charge.
