Extend the public lighting network

The SDED 52 has had the "public lighting" competence since 2008, with the objective of offering member communities of the Syndicate an optimized maintenance service for their public lighting installations, as well as an investment program allowing action on light sources, electrical supply networks, and ignition and extinction control devices.

Through this competence, the Syndicate is able to act on the existing park (see the dedicated action sheet), but also to proceed with its extension in order to secure road users throughout the built-up area of the communes.

Very often, the Syndicate's support for communities wishing to complete their lighting park is articulated with a global objective of lighting optimization.

The SDED 52 ensures the project management and project execution of these operations and calls, according to the provisions of its financial regulations, for a contribution from the commune of between 50% and 80% of the ex-tax amount of the works.
