Facilitate daily mobility for all in Pays d'Auge for the benefit of shared transport and active travel modes

The rural and multipolar nature of the Pays d'Auge territory leads to a strong dependence of inhabitants on cars. While the ecological crisis requires reducing dependence on carbon-based energies, the energy crisis exacerbates situations of energy poverty, exclusion, and forced isolation of households. In order to address the challenges of climate change mitigation by improving mobility options and strengthening the centrality functions of medium-sized towns and structuring villages in the territory in the sense of the SRADDET and the recommendations of the GIEC Normand, it is necessary to engage Pays d'Auge in a sustainable and inclusive mobility approach by providing mobility alternatives and developing new adapted and accessible means of transport for all audiences. This involves giving public and private actors all the necessary tools to build an effective and coherent mobility policy throughout the Pays d'Auge territory by targeting all levels of mobility (municipalities, EPCI, etc.) and all shared and sustainable mobility modes.
